Private Event DJ at Arrowhead Stadium
Arrowhead stadium has tons of energy and good will, even when the Chiefs aren’t playing! A family owned business hired me to be a private event DJ and emcee their employee-appreciation party, and they delivered a great time. We were invited to tour Arrowhead Stadium, relax in the guest suites, and even explore the locker rooms.

The media room might have been my favorite, and I couldn’t help but goof off and give my own version of a press conference.
Not to be out done, it was a beautiful day at Kauffman Stadium, home of the Kansas City Royals. The view of Kauffman was spectacular, right behind my DJ set-up.
DJ for a flow event
Since this was a flow event, I didn’t have a big concern on building up momentum on the dance floor. My main job was to make occasional announcements about all the fun stuff to do and keep the musical vibes happy and/or fresh. Can do. A couple times I helped announce winners of the raffle and welcomed visitors to the party, including a pair of cheerleaders!!
The weight of my instruments surprised them. Enough time with a keytar and bass guitar on my back and I barely notice anymore.
DJ PJS chooses Taylor Swift mixes
While I love an intense dance floor, I also enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. I experimented with some different song mixes, because that’s a luxury to have when I’m working. Since I was a private event DJ at Arrowhead Stadium, Taylor Swift was a regular request from folks. Her music permeates multiple generations, so she’s perfect to play at large family events. The Kungs club mix of Anti-hero works great.
Also need to shout out this version of Cruel Summer, which keeps the vibes up but doesn’t get oppressive. When I’m performing with Run With It or Songwheels, we debate which is her most popular song. Thought sometimes her most popular song might not actually work in a live setting as a cover band, but will work if you play the track as a DJ. This remix by LP Giobbi is my goto.
